Harp Workshops

For those who may be interested in learning about the Harp, I teach an "Intro to Harp" Workshop which is fun hands-on learning session. No music experience needed! This is a fun outing for family, friends, or gift ideas. Ages 8 and up.

In addition to my own studio workshops, I have taught workshops in the Denver Metro area for schools, churches, and local harp organizations including the Colorado Celtic Harp Society
Workshop Topics include: Performance Skills, Developing Left hand patterns/Leads Sheets, Music Theory 1&2, Chord Structures, Therapeutic and Meditative Harps, and our Community Holiday Play, and Sing-A-long.
Private Harp Lessons

I receive calls from people who are interested in signing up for harp lessons which is wonderful, however, I only have limited number of spots open for new students, and schedules fill up quickly.
Everyone who is interested in lessons with me starts with an Intro to Harp Workshop. This allows me to get to know the potential student and assess thier learning style, interest, ability to focus, and communication skills. Not only will I be able to determine if this student would be a good match for my studio, but parents may also evaluate if my teaching style is a good match for their child.
My students are very precious to me and I am very pleased to have such a warm, safe, and supportive harp studio family with wonderful parents. All of my harp families have gone through this process.

Harp Student Dads Get Their Stage Time Too
Ensemble and Group Lessons

My students will add to their repertoire by learning duet and ensemble music with other students in thier skill level. These group classes are required for students who are participating in Harp Fantasia.
Beginning to intermediate level students have the opportunity to participate in a Junior Youth Harp Ensemble. More advanced students may participate in a Performance Youth Ensemble which is by invitation only.
My Adult Harp Ensembles and duet groups are a fun way to bring out those musical skills for community service and volunteer performances for local organizations and outreach using harp, voice, and other musical instruments.
What harp studio could be complete without our own "hip" Group called, "The Daddy's". Bringing forth their special musical talents, hawaiian shirts, and "Dad Humor" This group of harp dads have really rocked in the past. Pictures to come.
